a few things are kept ready at every hinter space: a sauna, a hi-fi system, coffee to make by hand, and thirty days of o-p-e-n included with your stay. nothing is scheduled.
the saunas
dry cedar saunas at hinterhouse and hintercabin x, both built into the forest around them.
hinterhouse

an architectural replica of the main house, set lower down the hillside. floor-to-ceiling glass onto the forest canopy, cedar benches, electric dry heat. the controller is in the bathroom.
hintercabin x

a private cedar sauna of its own, standing in the pines a few steps from the fire pit. electric dry heat, cedar benches, open to the night air in summer and to the snow in winter.
each sauna heats in thirty to forty minutes and runs for an hour. fifteen minutes a session, sitting on a towel.
sound & hi-fi
each house has its own system, chosen for the room it sits in. all four stream over wi-fi.
