at hinter, we believe art and nature share a quiet dialogue — one that unfolds in the stillness of the forest, the shifting light on architectural lines, and the spaces we choose to inhabit. the artist-in-residence program invites creatives to immerse themselves in a hinter space for seven nights, using the time to explore, create, and document their process.
each selected artist has the room to reflect, experiment, and be inspired by their surroundings, with their work and creative journey featured on our website, our social platforms, and hinter planet. we welcome painters, photographers, writers, designers, sculptors and multidisciplinary makers who resonate with intentional living and artistic expression.

a full week in one of our spaces, coordinated around availability once you are selected.
half the rate
the total cost of the seven nights is 50% off, and can be paid in two installments.
four a year
we accept four artists per calendar year. applications are read on a rolling basis.
